Associate Procurement - Buyer

Job Details:

SUMMARY :
This position is responsible for delivering service and value for Procurement to support financial and risk management objectives. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing solutions that will streamline the processes within Procurement.

Duties/

Responsibilities include:

• Work with Category Management & Strategic Sourcing to execute Procurement strategy
• Maintain collaborative working relationship with Suppliers
• Identify ongoing process improvement to current processes
• Identify, track and monitor savings ( if applicable)
• Work with suppliers and internal stakeholders to understand current issues and help drive timely resolution
• Coordinate with Suppliers to obtain product or service information such as price, availability and delivery schedule
• Proactively inform Category Manager/Strategic Sourcing regarding opportunities, issues and status for assigned area of responsibility

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

1+ years’ experience in Procurement, Accounting/Finance, or a related field.

Supervisory:
This position will not have any direct reports.
