Diesel Technician; Night Shift

Shift Schedule

Sunday through Thursday, 4 pm to 2 am, OT as needed.

The Technician performs maintenance and repairs on class 8 equipment.

• Perform repairs on class 8 equipment within employee current skill level.
• Inspect equipment during the repair process to determine if additional repairs are necessary.
• Employee may perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of Covenant Transport Services.

• Own the tools required to perform the position responsibilities of this level excluding those provided by the company.
• Understand, communicate, read, and write the English language.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis and 95 lbs. on a frequent basis to mount tires.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
