Chase Staffing is currently hiring an Equipment Technician (White, GA) area.
Shift: 6:00am - 6:30pm OR 6:00pm - 6:30am
Pay rate: $24 to $25 per hour
RESPONSIBILITIESEquipment Maintenance & Repair
- Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on production equipment.
- Conduct repairs, part replacements, and equipment rebuilds to maintain uptime and reliability.
- Assemble and disassemble tools, modules, and equipment following SOPs and technical instructions.
- Identify required tools, parts, and materials before beginning maintenance tasks.
- Monitor equipment cleanliness and contamination levels to meet production standards.
Production & Operations Support
- Assist production teams with safe removal of scrapped or stranded wafers.
- Prepare and stage preventive maintenance kits to reduce downtime.
- Participate in shift pass‑down meetings and communicate equipment status, issues, and completed work.
Documentation, Compliance & Inventory
- Track inventory of parts, consumables, and maintenance supplies; report restocking needs.
- Follow all SOPs and maintain accurate maintenance documentation.
- Support continuous improvement by providing feedback on equipment and process issues.
- Maintain required certifications and training compliance.
Safety & Workplace Standards
- Follow all environmental, health, and safety procedures at all times.
- Wear required PPE, including respirators when necessary (must be clean-shaven where required).
- Work safely at heights over 20 feet using fall protection systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Technical training or hands‑on experience in mechanical, electrical, or skilled trades.
- Ability to use hand tools and basic mechanical equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or elevated platforms.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work in manufacturing/industrial environments and wear required PPE.
- Experience in semiconductor, solar, display, or other high‑precision manufacturing environments.
- Associate degree or technical certification in a related field.
- Cleanroom or chemical handling experience.
- Basic understanding of automation, PLCs, or robotics.
- Ability to communicate in Korean and/or Spanish is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Standing, walking, and working on equipment for extended periods.
- Exposure to cleanroom conditions, chemicals, noise, and moving machinery.
- Ability to lift and transport mechanical components up to 50 lbs.
- Required use of PPE including cleanroom gear, safety glasses, gloves, masks, and respirators.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces as needed.
