Production Manager, Operations Manager
Position Summary
The Blending Supervisor is responsible for supervising the entire blending operation, including material handlers and receiving personnel. The role oversees staffing, training, productivity, quality, safety, and food safety and food quality programs. This position reports to the Processing Manager and is based in Springdale, AR.
Primary Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate daily operations for blenders, material handlers, and receiving to meet production schedules and assign work.
- Lead, train, coach, and motivate team members to maximize productivity, inventory accuracy, teamwork, and accountability.
- Handle employee performance management, including coaching, corrective action, and performance evaluations.
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and shift documentation, including material scanning and inventory management.
- Conduct regular inspections of work areas, equipment, and personnel to maintain safety, food quality, and an efficient work environment.
- Enforce safety, quality, sanitation, and regulatory compliance policies (OSHA, FDA, USDA, CQPs, and CCPs).
- Communicate production goals, issues, and performance metrics to staff and management.
- Collaborate with Safety, Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Supply Chain departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Promote a continuous improvement mindset and modify training materials as needed.
- Assist with process improvement to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Act as backup and assist in any department position, including Blending Manager.

Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Forklift certification; 1 year experience required.
3-5 years of supervisory experience in processing, manufacturing, or production environments.

This position requires sufficient physical ability to work in a production setting. Frequent duties include: talking and hearing, sitting for prolonged periods to perform computer and administrative work, standing, walking, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, crouching, using hands and fingers to operate machinery or equipment, and exposure to wet, humid conditions and temperature fluctuations. Occasional duties include: squatting, kneeling, reaching above shoulder height, lifting and moving up to 50 lbs, and exposure to toxic and corrosive chemicals.
Vision: ability to use close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision; hearing: ability to hear in the normal audio range. The environment may involve noise from machinery, bottle lines, and exhaust fans.
