Waste Water Treatment Department Lead

Lead – Wastewater Treatment Department

Springdale, Arkansas.

• Create weekly staffing schedule for WWT employees to ensure continuous operation.
• Maintain operational and laboratory chemical supplies to support continuous production.
• Maintain all filter press plates and cloths to sustain production.
• Maintain Acid Etch scrubber to ensure continuous operation.
• Enter maintenance work orders into EAM.
• Maintain the WWT laboratory to industrial wastewater treatment standards.
• Oversee processing of paint and anodizing waste sludge as required to maintain compliance with all Federal, State, municipal and company requirements.
• Maintain discharge monitoring equipment and procedures to meet all compliance standards.
• Maintain WWT department and grounds, 90‑day hazardous waste storage area, and lean trailer.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

• Ability to lead a group toward shared goals.
• Understanding of anodizing and paint pre‑treatment processes.
• Working knowledge of WWT department operations and industrial wastewater laboratory testing procedures.
• Working knowledge of hazardous waste storage and waste‑stream disposal procedures.
• Ability to maintain WWT discharge monitoring requirements.
• Good written and verbal communication skills regarding technical aspects of chemical and mechanical operations.
• Capability to operate mobile equipment.

• Ability to regularly lift 40+ lbs, bend, stoop, and squat.
