We have 86 quarries and 56 asphalt plants across Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, Arkansas, Texas, Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio. Rogers Group is currently seeking a QUARRY PLANT OPERATOR for our quarry located in Springdale, Arkansas. The successful candidate will have previous experience operating a crushing plant or working with crushers, conveyors, and screens. Plant maintenance will be part of this role as well as operating other equipment as needed.

The successful candidate must also possess a strong commitment to safety excellence.

• Operating and monitoring a crushing facility
• Routine equipment and plant maintenance, and involvement with plant improvement projects
• Operating production equipment as needed – such as a haul truck, wheeled loader, or skid steer
• Clean-up around site
• Other duties as assigned

• Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
• 1+ years of experience operating a crushing plant preferred.
• Previous fixed plant maintenance or related industry experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of wash plant and crusher equipment.
• Able to do safety and maintenance inspections throughout the day.
• Capable of demonstrating equipment and troubleshooting knowledge.
• Experience working with crushers, conveyors and screens preferred.
• Ability to understand basic safety and work instruction.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Good organizational, scheduling and time management skills.
• Welding experience helpful along with general maintenance and repair abilities.
• Experience in heavy equipment operation a plus, but not required.
• Team player mentality.
• Working outdoors in varied weather conditions with the probability of dust, noise, heat, and cold.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
