You could be part of the Superior Glove Works team! We are seeking a full‑time permanent Production Associate for our afternoons and midnight shifts out of our Springdale facility.
Candidates must be able to follow standard operating procedures and perform required quality checks to ensure products meet established specifications and quality standards. Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify defects or issues are essential, along with the ability to make necessary corrections. Preference will be given to applicants with computer knowledge and experience, as well as sewing skills, embroidery experience, and strong hand‑eye coordination.

Reporting to the Production Team Leader, the Production Associate is responsible for completing various roles in the manufacturing process including filling orders accurately and efficiently, attending production machinery and equipment, and providing support to the Production Team. Duties include product preparation, finishing, quality assurance, and other assigned tasks.
LocationSpringdale, Newfoundland
Available ShiftsAfternoon Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Midnight Shift: Monday – Friday, 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
Responsibilities- Use production/manufacturing equipment and manually finish products (e.g., sewing, shrink wrapping gloves, silicone application, dotting).
- Maintain general upkeep of each workstation and work safely, complying with safety and procedural regulations.
- Conduct necessary checks on products to ensure quality.
- Willing to be cross‑trained in all aspects of production work, sewing, clean room operations, etc.
- Verify orders and ensure accurate labeling.
- Packing orders accurately, conducting quality checks and sorting gloves.
- Communicate quality issues as they arise.
- Utilize vend‑pak machine for individual packaging or pack gloves in bags by the dozen with accuracy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Preferred previous experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment; on‑the‑job training provided.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs, strong wrists and hands, comfortable in a fast‑paced processing environment.
- Capable of performing detailed work and comfortable with the variety of physical demands, including long periods of standing.
