Operations Generalist
As an Operations Generalist, you will be involved in various preparatory tasks such as case masking for shot peening, painting, plasma preparation, and machining. You will follow detailed schematics to apply masking tape on components, which vary in size and scope, including engine blades up to 112 inches.
Responsibilities
- Conduct material collection and delivery by picking up shipped parts, signing them out from the bonding room, and delivering them to the respective cells.
- Ensure tool boxes in each cell are fully stocked and assist with finding missing or misplaced parts.
- Operate aqueous cleaning equipment and apply rust preventative solutions, ensuring parts are clean and visually inspected before returning them for the next stage.
- Maintain a clean work environment with daily clean-ups and general area maintenance, ensuring the next shift has a clean working space.
- Track and transport parts within campus grounds, delivering them to specified cells as directed.
Essential Skills
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to be on feet and moving around the majority of the day.
- Exposure to working off work instructions or blueprints.
- Experience with hand and power tools is strongly preferred.

Work Environment
The position is offered in a climate-controlled environment across four operational buildings. You will work in a collaborative setting, interacting with members from various cells and groups, such as Quality and Engineering. The work is quality and safety-driven due to the nature and cost of goods handled. You will have the option to work either the first shift (M-F 6:30 AM-3 PM) or the second shift (M-F 3 PM-11:30 PM), with steel-toed shoes required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springdale, AR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
