Harvest Room Labor PR; 2nd Shift - Berry St Plant

Job Summary

Working with low lighting in a live hang area. Responsibilities include reaching a moving conveyor belt at a workstation, grasping live birds weighing from 2 to over 8 pounds, lifting the bird from the belt onto a suspended moving shackle line conveyor, and placing both legs of the bird into the shackle. Line speed is approximately 105 birds per minute, requiring hanging approximately 27 birds per minute.

Visual monitoring of shackles is required to hang approximately every 4th shackle.

Work as directed by supervisor.

• Good manipulation required to reach, grasp, lift, and hang birds into moving shackles.
• Ability to visual monitor shackles and hang birds every 4th shackle.
• Standing for the majority of the shift.
• Use of required PPE.
• Background check required.
• Physical capability to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
• 180‑day waiting period for former Tyson Foods team members (max two previous Tyson employments considered).
