Machine Operator, Production QC/QA

Onsite role in a climate controlled facility. 1st Shift hours Monday-Friday, 6:30 PM-3:00 PM. Overtime may be available after training.
What You Will Do- Set up and operate conventional, special purpose, and computerized numeric control (CNC) machines to fabricate and repair metallic and non‑metallic parts.
- Read blueprints, drawings, manuals, specifications to determine machine and set‑up requirements.
- Set up and prepare including fixtures, tools, attachments, and accessories.
- Operator level maintenance of machine and setup documents.
- Use measuring devices like micrometers, calipers to ensure specifications are met.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- Previous experience/training reading blueprints, drawings, manuals, and specifications to determine machining and set‑up requirements.
- Technical trade school degree in machining
- Training to include set‑up of fixtures, tools, attachments, and accessories.
- 5 years of machining experience
- 5‑axis horizontal or vertical milling experience
- Experience with VTL, lathes, and/or mills
- FANUC controller experience

The position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing as a pre‑employment contingency and also subject to ongoing random testing as an employee per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. It includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process.
For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
