Machinist - 1st Shift; Onsite

Onsite role in a climate controlled facility. 1st Shift hours Monday-Friday, 6:30 PM-3:00 PM. Overtime may be available after training.

• Set up and operate conventional, special purpose, and computerized numeric control (CNC) machines to fabricate and repair metallic and non‑metallic parts.
• Read blueprints, drawings, manuals, specifications to determine machine and set‑up requirements.
• Set up and prepare including fixtures, tools, attachments, and accessories.
• Operator level maintenance of machine and setup documents.
• Use measuring devices like micrometers, calipers to ensure specifications are met.
• Maintain a clean work environment.

• HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Previous experience/training reading blueprints, drawings, manuals, and specifications to determine machining and set‑up requirements.

• Technical trade school degree in machining
• Training to include set‑up of fixtures, tools, attachments, and accessories.
• 5 years of machining experience
• 5‑axis horizontal or vertical milling experience
• Experience with VTL, lathes, and/or mills
• FANUC controller experience

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. It includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process.
