- Unit: Med/Surg (EXT-Other 911)
- Start Date: March 30, 2026
- End Date: June 29, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (12-hour shifts) — night shift Med/Surg RN
- Schedule: Every other weekend required
- Hours per Week: 36
- On-Site: This is an on-site hospital position
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Minimum 1 year recent Med/Surg RN experience preferred
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification preferred
- Must be able to provide home address and Social Security Number upon submission
- Travelers must live more than 50 miles from the facility (travel nurse eligibility)
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to Med/Surg patients as a Registered Nurse
- Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and document changes in condition
- Administer medications and IV therapies safely according to hospital policy
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Assist with procedures, treatments, and care planning on the Med/Surg unit
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, care plans, and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR)
- Float to other units as needed to support hospital staffing
