- Shift: Nights, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (12-hour shifts)
- Schedule: Every other weekend required
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,570 - $1,650 per week
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — state license or multistate compact RN accepted
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience in a hospital or acute care setting
- ACLS certification preferred
- Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend as required for this travel nursing role
- Must be able to provide home address and Social Security Number (SSN) upon submission for credentialing and background checks
- Travelers must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (travel nurse eligibility)
- Provide high-quality, compassionate medical-surgical nursing care to adult inpatients
- Perform thorough patient assessments, monitor patient status, and document findings in the EMR
- Administer medications and treatments safely according to physician orders and facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, therapists, case managers) to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, care plans, and post-discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Adhere to hospital policies, clinical best practices, and patient safety standards in a busy Med/Surg unit
