• Unit: Med/Surg (Medical-Surgical) — acute care hospital
• Start Date: March 30, 2026
• End Date: June 29, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks (travel nurse contract)
• Shift: Nights, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (12-hour shifts)
• Schedule: Every other weekend required
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,570 - $1,650 per week

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — state license or multistate compact RN accepted
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience in a hospital or acute care setting
• ACLS certification preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend as required for this travel nursing role
• Must be able to provide home address and Social Security Number (SSN) upon submission for credentialing and background checks
• Travelers must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (travel nurse eligibility)

• Provide high-quality, compassionate medical-surgical nursing care to adult inpatients
• Perform thorough patient assessments, monitor patient status, and document findings in the EMR
• Administer medications and treatments safely according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, therapists, case managers) to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, care plans, and post-discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Adhere to hospital policies, clinical best practices, and patient safety standards in a busy Med/Surg unit
