We are looking for Registered Nurses (RN) for an immediate travel opening in Springdale, AR at our Rehabilitation Hospital.
As an RN in a Rehabilitation Hospital, you will provide specialized care to patients recovering from serious illnesses, injuries, or surgeries. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualized care plans, ensuring that patients regain as much function and independence as possible.
Responsibilities- Provide direct care to patients with neurological, orthopedic, or other rehabilitation needs, including stroke recovery, spinal cord injuries, joint replacements, or brain injuries.
- Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other members of the rehab team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Regularly assess patients’ physical and mental condition, monitor vital signs, neurological function, and progress in therapy; adjust care plans as necessary.
- Administer medications as prescribed, monitor for side effects, and ensure proper dosage and timely delivery; assist with pain management strategies.
- Educate patients and families about recovery goals, rehabilitation techniques, safety precautions, and strategies to promote independence in daily activities.
- Respond to medical emergencies, including sudden changes in condition, respiratory distress, or cardiac issues, and stabilize patients when needed.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Assist with discharge planning, ensuring patients and families are prepared for post‑discharge care, including home modifications, continued therapies, and follow‑up appointments.
- Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care tailored to each patient’s needs.
The ideal candidate must have at least one year of experience as an RN in a rehabilitation setting. Current BLS certification is required. Additional certifications may be required. Must be eligible for state licensure.

Total Med Travel Job . Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
