Position: Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Full-Time / Part-Time

Position Summary

As a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with work‑related injuries and acute conditions, while coordinating care with clinical staff, therapy teams, and employer partners. This role involves performing occupational medical exams, managing treatment plans, and ensuring high standards of documentation, clinical quality, and regulatory compliance.

What You’ll Do
  • Conduct medical evaluations, injury assessments, follow‑ups, and return‑to‑work exams.
  • Diagnose and manage work‑related injuries, minor illness, musculoskeletal issues, and urgent‑care concerns.
  • Develop treatment plans focused on safe functional recovery and timely return to duty.
  • Perform DOT physicals, pre‑employment physicals, IMEs, second opinions, and medical reviews.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests including X‑rays, labs, and specialty referrals when appropriate.
  • Document clinical encounters thoroughly and accurately within the EMR.
  • Collaborate with PT, clinic staff, and employer contacts regarding work restrictions and recovery progress.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, DOT, HIPAA, and state medical regulations.
  • Provide leadership and clinical guidance to Medical Assistants, Therapy staff, and support teams.
  • Contribute to quality improvement and workflow development across the clinic.
Clinic Schedule

Our Springdale clinic operates Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM with no weekend or holiday hours.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant with an active Arkansas state medical license.
  • DOT NRCME certification or willingness to obtain one.
  • Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related specialty.
  • Ability to diagnose, evaluate, and manage musculoskeletal and work‑related injuries.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and patient rapport.
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to documentation accuracy, compliance, and ethical patient care.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or workers’ comp.
  • Experience with EMR documentation and productivity workflows.
  • Experience supervising or collaborating with clinical teams.
