RN – $ / hr + $3.00 shift differential. Hourly wage commensurate with experience.
LPN – $ / hr + $2.00 shift differential. Hourly wage commensurate with experience.
Summary
Signet Health is actively interviewing for a nurse with behavioral health experience to join the Behavioral Health inpatient care team at Chambers Hospital in Danville, Arkansas. Both RNs and LPNs are invited to apply if you have behavioral health experience. This is a hospital position with all benefits provided by the hospital. Both RN and LPN day-shift positions available. These positions are full-time and may include weekends and holidays.
- Consults with and keeps the supervisor informed of activities, needs and problems in regard to assigned patients and/or unit.
- Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established philosophy.
- Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
- Effectively interacts with patients, families, and visitors while maintaining the standard of professional nursing.
- Provides physical and psychological support to patients.
- Interacts with patient and patient’s family and provides encouragement and support.
- Demonstrates care, warmth and empathy; also possesses good listening skills and ability to determine patient care needs.

Requirements- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Must have a current Arkansas or compact LPN or RN license.
- Basic Life Support/ACLS certification.
- Certification in de-escalation techniques is a plus, but we will train.
- Experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting is preferred.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of mental health and various illnesses with a willingness to expand knowledge.
- Culturally perceptive when working with psychiatric difficulties.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Resilience, immense empathy, and resolution are must.
- Team player, respectful, dependable, positive attitude and self-control of own emotions.
- Superb interpersonal and collaboration abilities.
