PRN - Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

Perimeter Behavioral of The Ozarks has immediate openings for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN). We are seeking individuals who are committed to improving the lives of those with mental health illness.

• Provides general nursing care as required.
• Develops a therapeutic relationship with assigned residents.
• Distribute medication as prescribed and properly maintain the MARS.
• Serve as a role model for residents and peers.
• Establish and maintain professional contact with the resident’s physician and psychotherapist to assist in planning the resident’s care.
• Model and teach appropriate life skills to the patients.
• Admit, discharge, and transfer residents based on physician’s orders and sometimes under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Intervene appropriately to de-escalate residents as needed, providing quality and excellent nursing care to assigned behavioral health children and adolescents.

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse License in the State of Arkansas or eligible compact license.
