• Provide care for patients with a variety of illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention and effectively treat life‑threatening conditions.
• Assess, intervene and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Be knowledgeable about general and specific health issues related to the broad range of medical conditions requiring urgent treatment.
• Properly understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients, including both physical and mental health conditions.

• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) may be required in some positions.
• At least eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.
