Travel PCU Stepdown RN

We are seeking a skilled Stepdown RN to provide specialized nursing care to patients transitioning from intensive care to general inpatient units.



Key Responsibilities Include

• Monitoring cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect abnormalities
• Administering medications and treatments, assisting with cardiac procedures
• Assessing patient condition, documenting health status, and notifying physicians of significant changes
• Responding to cardiac emergencies and ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Educating patients on cardiac health and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Adhering to safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory standards

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience
• Valid RN license per state regulations
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Critical thinking, strong communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in reading, writing, PC skills, and physical ability to assist with procedures
• Ability to work under pressure, maintain concentration, and handle physical demands
