Licensed Practical Nurse LPN (Psychiatry

Job Title

Are you a Licensed Practical Nurse looking for a full-time position in a thriving work environment? NWA Psychiatry is looking for a new team member for our expanding practice.

Responsibilities include providing direct or indirect nursing care to patients who present with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems; utilizes knowledge of basic nursing principles, practices and ethics; participates in the organization and management of the physicians' practice.

Responsibilities include assisting physician in patient education, revising daily schedules, obtaining charts and charge tickets, locating labs and x-ray reports; assuring patient health record is accurate and current; scheduling diagnostic tests and procedures; noticing patients of test results, scheduling follow-up appointments as appropriate; triaging patients to ensure productive departmental flow.

Qualifications include graduation certificate from accredited LPN school of nursing; preferred 12 – 18 months related psychiatry experience; current state licensure.
