Essential Accountabilities:
- Conducts random quality inspection of product on a routine basis.
- Lead and investigate the cause of nonconforming events and product on the converting lines as they occur.
- Isolate and reject non-conforming product and materials; conduct JDE hold transactions as required. Send information to QA management to initiate non-conforming investigation as needed. Assist with non-conformances investigations as directed.
- Under direction of QA Manager may generate Exceptions and Substitutions for night/weekend shifts.
- May assist in rework activities to ensure product safety, quality, and traceability is maintained.
- Ensure GMP, product safety and quality requirements are maintained and communicate customer requirements. Provide on-line quality support during first production runs.
- Perform monthly internal audits on converting, warehouse, distribution center, restrooms, maintenance area, breakroom, labs and exterior of building.
- Additional duties may include:
Enter COAs/COCs in Supplier Central. Take chemical samples when necessary and collect sanitation swabs as needed. Maintain the inventory in the QA Cage. May review and perform metal detector and balance verification tests on a regular basis. Review and verify First Articles, line clearing and product changeovers. Perform beginning of shift and changeover quality checks on all production lines. - Demonstrate a commitment to Rockline's RRITE Values of Renew, Respect, Integrity, Teamwork and Excellence.

Qualification Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required plus 2 years' manufacturing, quality or related experience. Previous experience in a quality assurance role preferred.
- Proficient in JD Edwards and Agile with the ability to complete QA functions in the system.
- Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Must be able to communicate face-to-face and over the phone.
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent standing/walking. Occasional sitting, bending, twisting, kneeling, climbing, pushing/pulling and reaching.
- Repetitive hand and foot movement.
- Work environment includes occasional noise >85db, hot and cold temperatures.
- Requires ability to read, write, calculate and analyze.
- Requires good visual acuity with depth perception and color vision.
