Position: (USA) Cake Decorator

Position Summary

As a Cake Decorator you will drive member service in your area to deliver more of what they love at a lower cost. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the members’ expectations.

What You ll Do
  • As a Team Member, collaborate with cross‑functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service; maintain in‑stock levels and control shrinkage.
  • As an Expert, plan the bakery productions to ensure consistency in quality and accuracy of decorative designs; follow recipe measurement instructions; decorate products such as bags, tips, nozzles to create flowers and lettering; adhere to food‑safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold‑chain compliance, and inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
  • As a Techie, leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology for production decisions, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
  • As an Owner, drive the performance of the bakery area to ensure quality and date‑control standards; eliminate waste; prepare for seasonal events such as holidays, graduations, and family events; identify member needs and assist with purchasing decisions while resolving member issues and concerns.
  • As a Talent Ambassador, be a brand advocate by valuing the member experience in bakery; model high‑quality service and products; interact with associates to understand roadblocks and assist in training, influencing, and inspiring them to work in a respectful, supportive, and team‑oriented style.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; implement related action plans and apply the Open Door Policy when executing business processes.
  • Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress; recommend improvement opportunities; adapt to change and learn from feedback.
  • Respect the Individual by embracing differences in people, cultures, ideas, and experiences—creating a workplace where associates feel supported and connected; build strong relationships and encourage team building, mentorship, and recognition.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 6 months' experience in a fresh production area.
  • Minimum age 18 years.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in cake decorating.
Salary & Compensation

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, depending on schedule, facility, season or specific work performed.
