Freight Flow Associate

As a Merchandising Associate at Sam's Club, you will support inventory, customer service, and safety operations while ensuring a high-quality member experience.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely to pick, move, place, and position merchandise pallets.
• Complete work assignments, prioritise tasks, and collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners.
• Receive and organise stock and supplies from distribution centres, maintaining inventory flow and completing required paperwork.
• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, guiding self-service technology, and resolving member issues.
• Maintain facility safety through safety sweeps, forklift spotting, hazardous-material handling, and reporting unsafe situations.
• Maintain merchandising presentation: zone the area, stock and rotate merchandise, remove damaged or out-of-date goods, set up displays, and ensure promotional items are prominent.
• Process defective merchandise in compliance with sanitation and food-safety regulations.
• Assist club pick-up orders, stage and audit for accuracy.
• Track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage; report poor inventory practices.
• Operate and maintain forklifts and equipment, reporting unsafe conditions and communicating issues to management.
• Proactively identify customers needing technology assistance, model and demonstrate technology services, and help with marketing and shrink- mitigation efforts.
• Perform team-building and mentoring activities in support of a culture of belonging and inclusion.
• Adhere to Walmart values; act with integrity, humility, honesty and transparency, and continuously drive improvements using new technologies.

• 90 days of forklift experience with certification.
• Ability to safely use pallet jacks.
• Minimum age 18 years.
