About the Position
The Territory Manager is responsible for managing and expanding sales within a designated territory. This role involves developing and maintaining relationships with customers, HVAC contractors, and distributors to achieve sales targets and promote the company's products and services.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the market.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, contractors, and distributors.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to engineers.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Effectively manage and prioritize activities within the assigned territory.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to stay informed about industry developments.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the market in the territory.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Provide feedback to the company on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, product developments, and best practices to effectively communicate relevant information to customers.
- Any other duties as required.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications, Attributes, Education, and/or Experience- Proven experience in HVAC sales, preferably in a commercial market.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and products.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant business software.
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software for sales tracking and management.
