We're currently partnering with a growing protein business seeking a Regional Sales Manager (Retail) to help drive the next phase of their growth within the US retail channel.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both managing existing retail relationships and identifying new business opportunities. The business already has an established presence but sees significant untapped potential across its retail customer base and is looking for an ambitious sales professional to help unlock it.
Unlike many larger food businesses, this role offers genuine visibility, autonomy and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on commercial strategy and growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and develop relationships with existing retail customers
- Identify and win new retail business opportunities
- Develop and execute territory growth plans
- Work closely with internal teams to support customer requirements and business objectives
- Represent the business at customer meetings, industry events and trade shows
- Deliver against revenue and profitability targets
- Minimum 5 years' experience selling protein products into retail accounts
- Existing relationships with retailers such as Kroger, Publix, HEB, Albertsons, Aldi, Food Lion, Win Co or similar
- Strong commercial and relationship management skills
- Comfortable balancing account management with business development activity
- Bachelor's degree required
- Willingness to travel approximately 15-20%
