Senior Manager Customer Development - Retail Poultry

SUMMARY:

Candidates local to NWA will be considered first. This position is responsible for building, leading, and implementing collaborative business solutions aligned with both Tyson and customer objectives to achieve desired business results within the retail value added chicken categories. This role manages the sales and profitable growth of Tyson's retail poultry business while providing sales leadership, support, and timely communication to both the customer and Tyson Business Units.

This position is also responsible for planning, forecasting, and budgeting volume and growth rates in alignment with both the customer’s and Tyson Business Unit’s objectives.

• Developing and leading strategic customer relationships that support collaboration and joint sales planning
• Maintaining a high level of interaction with the customer’s sales planning team, including engagement at off-site customer office locations
• Providing timely, concise, and effective communication both internally and externally
• Aligning and executing multiple business strategies

This position will work closely with internal counterparts in the Poultry business, including Customer Strategy and Execution, Sales, Business Units, as well as externally with Brokers, and Customers to achieve AOP sales goals and profitability metrics. Category responsibilities include but are not limited to RVAP, IQF, and Cornish business segments. This position will also lead Broker execution for the assigned customer set and/or geography, supporting the retail execution of the sales plan, driving initiatives and objectives to achieve AOP sales goals and profitability metrics.

• Managing JBP strategies and processes with key customers to achieve mutual growth objectives
• Executing annual line review processes with key customers
• Providing input to development of annual growth plan and managing appropriate gap planning across team

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
• Experience:
  
  7+ years of experience - poultry sales experience preferred 2+ years sales experience in Retail channel and/or 2+ years National Accounts Direct Sales Experience
