Position is located at 415 West Emma Avenue in Springdale, Arkansas.

Position requires availability Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm with occasional after hours, plus rotational On-Call for after hours and weekends.

Job Title:
Enterprise Physical Security Specialist 2

Under moderate oversight, the Enterprise Physical Security Specialist 2 protects Arvest’s people, property, and assets through proactive risk mitigation, incident response, access control management, and partnership with stakeholders to ensure a secure environment across all locations. The incumbent serves as a technical resource for the team, maintains troubleshooting knowledge, and escalates incidents to senior team members or the direct manager.

What You’ll Do at Arvest:

  • Provide physical protection and security of personnel, property, and assets through proactive measures and effective incident response, ensuring compliance with Arvest Bank policies and procedures.
  • Issue and maintain accurate records of physical security credentials for new hires, transfers, terminations, and lost or compromised credentials.
  • Assist senior team members in addressing security concerns, maintaining a safe working environment for associates and customers, and collaborating with management, HR, law enforcement, and third‑party consultants.
  • Deliver periodic security awareness training to promote a culture of security consciousness among employees.
  • Respond to and manage security incidents, including identifying and diffusing disruptive behavior, escalating to management and/or law enforcement, negotiating control until senior team members or law enforcement arrive.
  • Investigate security incidents, request video surveillance, collaborate with law enforcement and internal stakeholders, and prepare written analysis for the Physical Security Leadership.
  • Collaborate with local management to address security concerns, ensuring a safe working environment and escalating as necessary.
  • Develop relationships with local law enforcement and the regional security team to ensure effective collaboration, and maintain relationships with other security professionals in banking and related industries.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to provide guidance and direction to third‑party guards regarding post orders, procedures, and safety protocols, and maintain required network or physical access credentials.
  • Collaborate with third‑party security vendors and contractors, ensuring service level agreements are met and performance is optimized.
  • Maintain an understanding of Arvest’s security program, policies, standards, and procedures, and monitor security trends and emerging technologies to proactively mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with other Enterprise Physical Security team members by providing feedback from site visits related to third‑party vendors and bank equipment installations, and report on new construction, remodels, or ATM‑related projects.
  • Conduct routine facility security checks to identify threats and vulnerabilities, including perimeter checks, verifying exterior lighting, and ensuring all security devices are operational.
  • Provide backup support to junior team members when necessary and serve as contact for the alarm monitoring company and local law enforcement.
  • Participate in the on‑call rotation for alarm calls after hours and respond to after‑hours emergencies or break‑fix issues.
  • Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank’s BSA/AML Program, including completing compliance training and reporting violations or suspicious activity.
