Our staffing agency is partnering with our client to hire a skilled and versatile Carpenter to join their construction and maintenance team in Springdale, AR. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on Carpenter who enjoys variety in their workday and has experience across multiple areas of commercial construction and property maintenance. The Carpenter will support projects across different properties and must be comfortable shifting between tasks while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency.

The Carpenter role requires a proactive and dependable individual who can work independently or as part of a team. This position involves physical labor, use of hand and power tools, and organization of materials within a company shop and vehicle environment. A successful Carpenter will take pride in craftsmanship, follow safety standards closely, and approach each task with a problem-solving mindset.

As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of construction and maintenance duties, including framing, installation, and general repairs. This role is well-suited for someone who has experience in commercial construction and enjoys working in diverse environments and weather conditions. The Carpenter will also be expected to maintain tools, keep work areas organized, and represent our client professionally at all job sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform carpentry tasks across multiple commercial properties, including repairs, remodels, and maintenance projects.
  • Complete work involving metal framing, drywall installation and finishing, millwork, cabinetry, and fixture installation.
  • Safely operate hand tools and power tools to complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials, tools, and equipment between job sites.
  • Perform heavy lifting and manual labor safely for extended periods of time.
  • Maintain organization within the company shop and service vehicle to ensure efficiency and safety.
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and OSHA regulations at all times.
  • Identify issues in the field and communicate needed repairs or materials to supervisors.
  • Work independently or alongside other trades to complete projects on schedule.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Carpenter or in commercial construction or maintenance preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Proficiency with a wide range of hand tools and power tools.
  • Knowledge of construction techniques including metal framing, drywall, millwork, cabinetry, and fixture installation.
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety standards and OSHA regulations.
  • Ability to safely lift at least 40 pounds and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at varying heights.
  • Physical stamina to work in diverse weather conditions and demanding environments.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and task-oriented mindset.
