Controls Technician needed for a Full Service MEP Contractor in the Midwest. Salary: $35–$50 per hour.

A full-service MEP contractor serving Northwest Arkansas and Southwest Missouri for over 50 years.

Actively seeking Controls Technicians in Arkansas. The Controls Technician is responsible for the installation and repair of control systems, applying judgment and discretion when testing and repairing these systems.

• Safely and efficiently install controls components
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical or programming issues
• Install and repair various manufacturers’ equipment and controls; perform required installation and repair of protocols including BACnet, Lonworks, Modbus, and others
• Coordinate projects, manage project logistics, and supervise field activities, including turnover meetings and coordination between the Controls Department and other divisions
• Operate heavy equipment and machinery as required
• Work with hazardous materials, at heights, and in confined spaces
• Drive to various job sites throughout the workday and maintain a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
• Remain alert and work safely at all times
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
• Perform other duties as assigned

• 2+ years of building automation (BAS/BMS) or HVAC controls experience
• Willingness to be in the field locally at client sites roughly 80% of the time (openings on new construction and service teams)
• Familiarity with one or more of the following BAS systems:
  Schneider Electric, Siemens, JCI, ALC, Trane, Delta Controls, Distech, Honeywell, or other

• Triducat Niagara experience
