Job Summary
Responsible for the proper land application of wastewater treatment plant bio‑solids and the repair of production trolleys. Duties include the setup, operation, maintenance, and repair of dredging equipment and trolley repair equipment, daily monitoring of equipment fluids and lubricants during dredging operations, and ensuring safe and proper operation of dredging equipment. Supervise shift operations, which may include night shifts, and perform additional duties as assigned by the dredging supervisor.
When dredging is not required, repair trolleys or work in the shop. Drive fleet and/or Tyson‑owned equipment and be available for emergency operations when needed.

- Setup, operation, maintenance, and repair of dredging equipment
- Repair of production trolleys
- Daily monitoring of equipment fluids and lubricants during dredging operations
- Ensure safe and proper operation of dredging equipment
- Supervise shift operations (may include night shifts)
- Complete additional duties as directed by the dredging supervisor
- Operate fleet and/or Tyson‑owned equipment
- Be available for emergency operations when required
- Agricultural background preferred
- High School diploma
- Experience in general equipment repair, maintenance, engine repair, welding, or farming background with knowledge of agricultural equipment operations
- Self‑motivated and able to work without direct supervision
- Valid Driver’s License
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to participate in random drug screening
- Must be able to lift fifty (50) lbs. or more
- Extensive seasonal travel for project work at company locations
- On‑site Tyson locations: minimum twelve‑plus hour days for eleven days with a three‑day off turnaround; time may be extended due to weather and project needs

Pay range: $28.45 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses. Tyson will develop an offer based on relevant skills, market data, internal equity, and other factors.
