About the Role:Currently looking to hire a BAS Controls Technician in Northwest Arkansas. This role is focused on installing, programming, commissioning, and servicing building automation systems (BAS) across commercial projects. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality control solutions while working directly with customers, project teams, and field technicians.
What You’ll Do- Install, program, and commission BAS/DDC systems for new construction and retrofit projects
- Troubleshoot and service control systems at customer sites
- Verify system performance and ensure sequences meet project specifications
- Develop and implement control programs, databases, and graphics
- Complete commissioning documentation and maintain accurate as-built records
- Coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams to support project execution
- Provide technical support, training, and follow-up for end users
- Assist HVAC technicians with controls-related issues in the field
- Mentor junior technicians and contribute to team development
- Identify service opportunities and support ongoing customer relationships
- 3–5+ years of experience working with BAS / HVAC controls systems
- Strong understanding of HVAC equipment and control sequences
- Experience with platforms such as Tridium Niagara (N4/AX), Distech, or similar
- Ability to troubleshoot, program, and commission DDC systems
- Comfortable working directly with customers and in the field
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license
- Technical degree or formal training in HVAC, electronics, or controls
- Experience with multiple BAS platforms or OEM systems
