• Assist with loading and appropriately securing product onto or inside delivery vehicle using motorized or non-motorized material handling equipment.
• Assist Driver in delivering and off-loading product at customer facilities;, and carry product to a designated area at the customer site with assistance from the Driver.
• Deliver customer orders to customer sites using a company van or pickup truck; obtain signed proof of delivery.
• Drive pilot vehicle for oversize loads, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicles to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Plan and pace work to meet daily, weekly, project, or team productivity goals.
• Observe all safety procedures, attend periodic safety meetings, and suggest improvements to safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum Education:
  
  High School Diploma or GED.
• One year of experience performing similar tasks, or equivalent education/training/experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Competencies include: good verbal and written communication, map/route reading, excellent customer service, ability to read diagrams and schematics, knowledge of escort service regulations, basic math and measurement, and ability to use motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment.

• Regularly rides in a truck delivering product to customers; works in all types of weather; noise level is usually moderate.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds frequently and up to 200 pounds with assistance, with occasional tasks requiring climbing, lifting, pushing, or kneeling.
• Must be able to climb into cab, twist torso for visibility, and operate controls.
