Position: Fleet Coordinator (Arkansas)

Job Overview

The Fleet Coordinator (Arkansas) will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and administration of Primoris Services Corporation's fleet operations within the state of Arkansas, ensuring efficient utilization, maintenance, and compliance of all company vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and track all fleet assets, including vehicles, heavy equipment, and trailers, within Arkansas.
  • Coordinate vehicle and equipment maintenance schedules, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections, with internal shops or external vendors.
  • Process and maintain accurate records of fleet-related documentation, such as vehicle registrations, titles, insurance, and maintenance logs.
  • Assist in the procurement and disposal of fleet assets, including researching new vehicles/equipment and coordinating sales or auctions of retired assets.
  • Monitor fuel consumption and mileage for all fleet vehicles and equipment, identifying areas for efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations, including DOT requirements.
  • Manage and resolve any fleet-related issues or breakdowns in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, field personnel, and vendors regarding fleet needs and status updates.
  • Assist with inventory management of fleet-related parts and supplies.
  • Generate reports on fleet performance, costs, and compliance as required.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent;
    Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in fleet management, logistics, or a similar administrative role, preferably within a construction or industrial setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with fleet management software or systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and vehicle maintenance practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
