Hazmat Delivery Courier - Contract Opportunity

With roots as radiopharmaceutical couriers, we understand the importance of precision and the margin of error required for safe, dependable deliveries. 1099‑contractors drive the delivery of time‑sensitive and life‑saving therapies and diagnostics to our customers.
Contractor SoughtAssociated Couriers is looking for a dependable and professional contractor courier with a Commercial Driver’s License and Hazmat Endorsement for the following:
- Routed Deliveries – Varying routes that normally have a set recurring schedule.
NOTE:
routes may change unexpectedly based on customer needs. - STAT/On‑Demand – Last‑minute pickups and orders dispatched from a route manager or customer.
- Backup/Standby – Fill‑in for route voids.
For this contract, you will be picking up and delivering pharmaceuticals, medical therapies, generators, and medical supplies.
Coverage Sought- Reliable independent contractors with a Transit Van or Cargo Van, available to run orders Sunday through Thursday, 6 pm to 5 am, with an approximate 500 miles per day distance.
- Earned in one or more of the following ways: per mile, per route, per stop (plus variable fuel surcharge in some markets).
- Earned weekly through our third‑party pay administrator Openforce.
- Specific commission details to be discussed in the pre‑contracting process.
- Eligible contractors must be between 21 and 75 years of age.
- Valid and current Commercial Driver’s License Class A, B, or
C. - Valid and current DOT Hazmat Endorsement.
- Valid and current DOT Med Card.
- Attentive to detail.
- Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs consistently.
- Available hours of service to cover the required availability.
- Live within 25 miles of zip code 72301.
- Own a reliable and registered Transit Van or Cargo Van (2009 or newer) for this contract.
- Maintain state minimum auto insurance for bodily injury and property damage as primary coverage.
- Option to maintain own qualifying workers’ compensation insurance or participate in the Occupational Accident Insurance program for a weekly fee.
- Complete contractor‑qualifying screenings and online delivery preparation modules.
- Clean driving record with no more than two moving violations or at‑fault accidents in the last three years.
- Smartphone for GPS order tracking and order scanning.
- Willing to drive in inclement weather.
- Adherence to professional appearance standards: solid white/royal blue polo shirt, solid colored pants (no athletic wear or sweatpants), comfortable shoes/boots (no flip‑flops, high heels, sandals), 1099‑Contractor y displayed (supplied by Associated Couriers).
Our 1099 contracts are offered to interested and qualifying contractors on a first‑come, first‑served basis. Time is of the essence in completing the pre‑contracting process, which generally takes 2‑5 days. Due to high interest, we may exclude contractors who become inactive during the pre‑contracting phase.
