Position Description

Truck Driver CDL A Home Daily job at Ryder System. Springdale, AR.

Pay and Schedule

• $1015 or more per week
• Hourly Pay: $23.62 per hour with overtime after 40 hours
• Hours per week: 40–45 hours
• Up to $2200 in annual bonuses per year
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday, 7:00am dispatch time

Route and Equipment

• Delivers SOLO to Arkansas – within a 100‑mile radius
• Tractor:
  Day Cab that must be operated manually
• Trailer:
  Flatbed (6 months experience required)
• Route:
  Home daily
• Equipment:
  Truck‑mounted forklift
• Freight:
  Load securement – strapping

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A experience: 9 months within the past 3 years, or 2 years within the last 5 years, or 5 years within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Load and unload freight or assist in loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned
