ESSENTIAL
ACCOUNTABILITIES :
* Drive forklift
* Assist in receipt and storage of incoming and outgoing materials
* Read and understand Bill of Ladings and ST/OT paperwork.
* Must be proficient with Scan gun and JDE System.
* Must be able to maintain an outstanding attendance record.
* Inventory/Transaction Accuracy is required.
* Assist with cycle counts
* Inspect trucks for all loads entering.
* Responsible for wrapping and movement of finished goods.
* Responsible for dumping trash and keeping warehouse space clean.
Required Skills:
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment
* Good math and communication skills
* Motivated and self-starter
* Work with speed and accuracy with little supervision
* Must be able to follow instructions well
* Must be well organized
* Must be able to work a 12 hours shift
* Must be able to pass functional capacity exam to lift 50lbs and pust/pull 75lbs
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or GED, required. 1 - 2 years warehouse experience preferred, plus experience in warehouse functions of JDE, and Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, preferred. Must be organized and able to multi-task and solve issues in a timely manner. Must be able to work with speed in a fast-paced environment and with accuracy. Must be able to follow instructions.
PHYSICAL AND REQUIREMENTS:
* Must be able to communicate face-to-face and over the phone
* Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs. Occasional lifting up to 75 lbs.
* Frequent standing, bending, twisting, kneeling, climbing, on and off the forklift, pushing/pulling and reaching.
* Repetitive hand and foot movement.
* Work environment includes occasional noise >85db, hot and cold temperatures and some fumes/odors.
* Requires good visual acuity with depth perception and color vision.
This position is designated as a Safety Sensitive (A safety - sensitive position in which the associate's inability or impaired ability to perform their job-related tasks could result in a direct threat to the associate's safety or safety of others).
