Our members love shopping for fresh food at Sam’s Club. As a freezer, cooler, and deli stocker you will keep shelves stocked, maintain sanitary conditions, and provide front‑line customer service. You’ll play an important role in the operations that keep our product ready for members.

Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps; following proper forklift spotting procedures; handling and disposing of hazardous materials; following company steel standard guidelines; and reporting unsafe situations to Management.

Maintains the Sales Floor and merchandise presentation in the Freezer/Cooler/Deli area in accordance with company policies by handling claims and returns; zoning the area; receiving and stocking merchandise; setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays; removing damaged goods; signing and pricing merchandise; completing required audits, paperwork, logs, and other documentation; and securing fragile and high‑shrink merchandise.

Provides member service by acknowledging the member, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, providing deli products, resolving issues, and promoting the company’s products and services.

Follows company policies related to freezer/cooler area by complying with food handling policies; operating, repairing, and sanitizing equipment; following cold chain procedures; cleaning the area; monitoring freezer/cooler fans, drains, and doors; and reporting issues.

• Ensuring high‑quality products are taken care of and available for members.
• Ensuring shelves are clean, maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lower‑quality food products.
• Packing ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and stock displays.
• Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member‑ready area.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work on a schedule that may vary.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb.
• Basic math skills and ability to count inventory.

• Experience in stocking, freezers, coolers, or deli departments.
• Customer service experience.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.

Premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
