Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is well-suited for a highly organized and efficient professional with a strong background in day-to-day financial operations. The Bookkeeper will maintain accurate financial records and provide support across core accounting functions.

- Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
- 100% on-site
- Process payroll for multiple client companies accurately and on schedule
- Prepare and file client payroll tax returns in compliance with applicable regulations
- Prepare and file client sales tax returns
- Perform bank reconciliations across multiple client accounts
- Prepare monthly and year-end financial statements for clients
- Maintain organized, accurate, and up-to-date financial records for each client
- Provide general accounting support to clients as needed
- Minimum of 1 year of bookkeeping experience
- Solid understanding of core accounting principles
- Proficiency with bookkeeping and accounting software (e.g., Quick Books or similar platforms)
- Ability to work independently in an on-site environment
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Effective time management and problem-solving skills
- Tax Preparation experience is a plus

Pay range: 40,000 - 55,000 USD per year (Springfield, IL)
