Job Description

We are in the search for an AP Clerk to join our team in the manufacturing industry based in Oak Brook, Illinois. The role involves managing routine accounting tasks, focusing primarily on processing accounts payable transactions for our international clients.

• Managing the day‑to‑day processing of accounts payable transactions to ensure finances are maintained accurately and efficiently.
• Ensuring invoices are paid by verifying transaction details, scheduling and preparing disbursements, and obtaining payment authorization.
• Verifying transaction information and calculating charges; identifying insufficient payments.
• Maintaining accounting ledgers by posting account transactions.
• Reconciling accounts by matching statements and transactions.
• Upholding financial security by adhering to internal accounting controls.
• Contributing to the team effort by achieving related results as needed.
• Balancing, executing, and prioritizing both routine and analytical tasks.

• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Knowledge of Account Coding
• Familiarity with ERP Solutions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Skills in Concur
• Understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience in Auditing
• Ability to perform Billing Functions
• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC)
• Experience in the Manufacturing industry is preferred.
