Accounting Supervisor | Global Manufacturing Leader (Remote Flexibility)
A global publicly traded manufacturing organization is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to join their growing team.
This is a high-visibility role that will oversee key aspects of the close process across multiple entities throughout the Americas, while partnering cross-functionally with finance, operations, treasury, shared services, IT, and external auditors. The position will also play an important role in post-acquisition integration efforts, ERP alignment, process standardization, and internal controls enhancement.

Responsibilities:
- Lead critical portions of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close across multiple entities
- Prepare and review complex journal entries related to revenue recognition, intercompany transactions, inventory, accruals, leases, and manufacturing accounting
- Review account reconciliations and investigate variances / reconciling items
- Support consolidated reporting and financial submissions
- Own and execute key SOX controls, including documentation and audit support
- Partner with internal and external auditors on walkthroughs and compliance initiatives
- Support ERP integrations, system transitions, and automation projects across multiple accounting platforms
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve accounting issues and improve reporting accuracy
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on close optimization, standardization, and transparency
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical accounting guidance
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with SOX / internal controls (COSO framework exposure is a plus)
- ERP experience (JDE, Epicor, Syteline, or similar systems preferred)
- CPA or CPA-track preferred
- Prior manufacturing or multi-entity accounting experience is highly valued
