As a Billing Specialist, you’ll be part of a collaborative team responsible for billing and accounts receivable across our nationwide behavioral health services. You’ll manage daily invoicing, reconcile accounts, and ensure timely collections with professionalism and care.

• Serve as a primary contact for customers, therapists, clinical managers, and account executives on billing issues.
• Perform daily accounts receivable (A/R) invoicing and post transactions in the billing system.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies; communicate with customers as needed.
• Manage customer outreach to collect outstanding balances and reconcile disputes.
• Run weekly aging reports and follow up on past‑due accounts.
• Partner cross‑functionally with internal departments to ensure invoices are processed accurately and on time.
• Contribute to process improvement projects across the billing function.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• Education & Experience:
  
  Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience:
  
  3+ years in Accounting, with emphasis on A/R and Collections preferred.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
• Experience with Waystar required.
• Familiarity with Kronos or Great Plains preferred.
• Professional
  
  Skills:
  
  Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Highly organized, analytical, and detail‑oriented.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
