Controller, Accounting, Accounting Manager

The Controller will oversee all accounting and financial reporting activities within a complex, multi-entity public company environment. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial statements, leading external reporting, and maintaining a strong internal control framework in a regulated setting.

This is a highly visible leadership position that requires strong technical accounting experience, exposure to revenue-related complexities, and the ability to support evolving operational and strategic needs.

• Oversee the preparation and filing of periodic external reports
• Lead reporting deliverables and support materials for key stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and disclosure requirements
• Lead accounting for complex and non-routine transactions
• Prepare and review technical accounting documentation
• Support accounting implications of strategic initiatives and financing activities

• Maintain and enhance a strong internal control environment
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and audit standards
• Partner with auditors and internal stakeholders on control design and execution

• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Drive improvements in efficiency, scalability, and automation
• Support future system enhancements and process optimization initiatives

• 15+ years of progressive accounting experience
• 5+ years supporting a publicly traded company
• Hands‑on SOX compliance and external audit exposure
• CPA required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent)
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred
• Base Salary Range: $,000
• Bonus Eligibility: 25%
