Position OverviewIDOC is looking to hire an Office Associate in the Transfer Coordinator’s Office that will maintain General Office files, date stamp and log incoming transfers and other paperwork and documents received, and answer/route telephone calls. In addition, they will utilize the Law Enforcement Activity Data System (LEADS) to run warrant checks on individuals in custody, and keyboard a variety of letters, reports, documents and memos including legal terminology.

- Maintains General Office files, including the retrieval of, distribution of, and returning to shelf of general offices files daily weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Date stamps and logs all incoming transfers and all other paperwork and documents received in TCO.
- Answers phones and routes telephone calls.
- Utilizes the Law Enforcement Activity Data System (LEADS) to run warrant check on individuals in custody that the Department of Corrections (DOC) wants to transfer to low security institutions.
