Scheduling Manager Duties and Responsibilities
- Schedule appointments
- Resolve scheduling conflicts
- Send office memos regarding meetings, conferences, and deadlines
- Predict staffing needs and assist with vendor management
- Update client information in our system
- Updating spreadsheets
- Respond to client questions and complaints
- Maintain live spreadsheets
- Daily scheduling audits
- Manage a scheduling team of 3
- Intradepartmental communication with the billing and claims managers
- Navigate and utilized multiple client platforms
- Weekly goal setting for scheduling specific clinicians
- Associates degree minimum (unless prior experience in scheduling management)
- Bachelor’s degree or better (preferred)
- Mandatory scheduling or staffing experience
- Phone communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Computer proficiency
- Google sheets
- Google forms
- Email etiquette/professionalism
- Excel (a plus)
- Simple Practice (a plus)
- Zoc Doc (aplus)
