Position Summary Are you looking to build a meaningful career in public service? The Illinois Department of Central Management Services (CMS) is seeking a highly motivated Administrative Assistant to support the Director's Office. In this role, you will serve as the primary personnel liaison, vehicle coordinator, and timekeeper for the Director's Office. You will help manage the Director's calendar, coordinate sensitive information, and ensure that all confidential materials are handled with consistency, quality, and timeliness.
Qualified candidates must possess the equivalent of four years of college and at least two years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational and time‑management skills, the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment, effective analytical and problem‑solving capabilities, at least two years of professional human resources experience, and experience gathering data, preparing reports, and supporting smooth office operations.
