ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT I - DCFS - SCR Administration - State Central Register.
Position OverviewThe Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and results oriented individual to serve as Administrative Assistant I. EssentialFunctions
- Serves as staff assistant to the Deputy Director of State Central Register.
- Serves as a confidential liaison to the Budget and Payroll Sections of the Department.
- Reviews correspondence and apprises the Deputy Director of urgent issues.
- As an administrative assistant to the Deputy Director, screens phone calls for the Deputy Director, Deputy SCR Administrators, and supervisory staff.
- Oversees the compilation of the monthly personnel report and maintenance of controlled correspondence reports, appropriate records, and files.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
- Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college, preferably with courses in business or public administration.
- Requires one year of professional experience in a public or private organization.
- Requires ability to pass a background check.
Bachelors Degree or equivalent
