The Illinois Department of Agriculture's Division of Cannabis Regulation is growing and seeks qualified candidates to ensure the success of this developing area. The Office Coordinator will assist with receiving, screening and coordinating renewal license applications. They will also assist in reviewing and approving product registration forms, variances forms, modifications, alterations, permit renewals, changes of ownership, issuing original and replacement cultivation for the Bureau of Licensing and Administration while adhering to the cannabis rules and regulations for the Division.
Coordinates the review and approval of licensing program functions as assigned. Assists with receiving, screening and coordinating renewal license applications and agent identification cards. Determines office procedures and methods, and functions as the Spanish speaking translator and interpreter. Prepares complex statistical reports and charts. Assist with Gathering, reviewing, and analyzing FOIA requests inquiries. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to two years of secretarial/business college, or completion of high school and two years of related office experience, or two years of independent business experience. Requires the ability to keyboarding accurately at the rate of 30 wpm. Requires the ability to speak and write Spanish at the colloquial skills level.
