Used Car Service Technician

Landmark Ford, Inc., a part of the Landmark Automotive Group of Springfield, IL, is seeking an experienced Used Car Service Technician to meet the dealership's used car repair needs. Primarily Ford vehicles, this experienced Used Car Service Technician must be capable of performing skilled repairs and maintenance on a variety of makes and models.

Used Car Service Technician Responsibilities and Duties

• Diagnostic and inspection of all makes of used cars
• Timely maintenance and repair of used cars to ready them for sale
• Other technician duties as assigned by the Service Manager
• Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify and rectify issues.
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
• Keep detailed records of all work performed and parts used.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations and guidelines.

Used Car Service Technician Qualifications and Skills

• A mastery of a range of automotive and general mechanical skills
• Excellent diagnostic skills
• Great time management skills
• The ability to work independently
• Two or more years of experience in the servicing and repair of automobiles
• High school diploma or equivalent
• MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS!
