The Account Manager, US Soccer Federation, is a virtual position that will serve and oversee the complex management and execution of individual, group and administrative domestic and international travel for US Soccer Federation. This position will be heavily involved in domestic air, international air, car service and, at times, individual hotel and rental car needs. The ideal candidate is a creative and analytical thinker with strong project management skills and demonstrates exceptional organizational abilities, superb interpersonal skills, multitasking skills and excellent time-management.
EssentialFunctions & Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships (both internal and external) as it relates to work assigned.
- Ability to manage a high volume of individual and group air, both domestic and international.
- Provide emergency and after-hours service to travelers, especially during peak client event months.
- Coordinate communication of traveler itineraries and changes with client staff.
- Know and properly use: airline terminology, codes, fare basis, airline rules and tariffs, resource guides, books, and industry contacts.
- Know and can book car service, rental cars and hotels when needed.
- Accurately and timely data management.
- Remain informed of all airline rules and regulations and current affairs.
- Maintain a professional working relationship with the clients while representing the Company.

Preferred Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities- Proven record of successful relationship building and maintenance
- Knowledge of Sabre or similar GDS
- Knowledge and experience of the airline industry
- Individual and group booking experience and knowledge
- Understanding of visa and country legal document requirements
- Knowledge of general office PC-based programs, including Microsoft Office 365
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to produce accurate work under the stress of and meet ticketing deadlines
