The RoleThe Associate – Planning Services provides our clients with tactical planning expertise and process consulting. As an Associate – Planning Services you will work with the client engagement leader to deliver either demand or supply planning outcomes for our clients. We are looking for a passionate, savvy planner to proactively manage demand and/or supply plans, analyze data, document assumptions, and manage planning models that drive positive business results for our clients.
Additionally, you will work with the client and other consultants to engineer collaboration and provide feedback and requirements that enhance planning systems and tools.
- Ability to evaluate demand and supply planning models and generate analysis and actions that improve forecasting and inventory KPIs.
- Manage new demand forecasting units and new product introduction processes.
- Participate in S&OP meetings and preparation sessions to document insights that drive forecasting and supply plan improvements.
- Analyze and document end-to-end planning processes spanning the demand and supply planning functions within our client’s organization.
- Evaluate planning-related data structures, data models, and technology tools involved in the end-to-end planning process, with an emphasis on analyzing links to strategic KPIs.
- 3+ years of experience working in demand and/or supply planning forecasting roles, preferably in an S&OP structure.
- Minimum of 1 year using Net Stock planning tools.
- Experience with demand planning and forecasting tools highly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication with outside stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work at the intersection of process, data, tools, and technology.
- Proven presentation capabilities in both content and delivery.
