GENERAL SUMMARY
Manage and Administer product operations, product launch and forecasting efforts for the generics commercial team. This position will generate sales analytics, product management and portfolio analysis to support the Generics Retail business. Role will be responsible for working with supply chain, manufacturing, sales team and internal pricing and contracts teams. This role will require cross functional collaboration with several brand business units, retail generics, and institutional generics to successfully process and administer all contracts and bids for commercial products specifically to meet the department and company goals.
This role reports directly to the Senior Marketing Manager.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze complex data of generic pharmaceutical product supplies, demand, customer demographics, and pricing to evaluate market dynamicsAnalyze internal and external environment, market and product level trends, customer behavior to product forecast for commercial productsAnalyze internal supply schedule vs forecast and ensure supply team is providing requested products on time and volumes to support the business; while being that conduit between Demand Planners and Sales teamProvide input to supply chain for sales planning and lead product growth with sales team to drive business and achieve revenue, profit and market share goalsAssist in development of sales budgets and forecasts through running IQVIA dataAssist in the weekly inventory calls to lead marketing team action points and maintain a tracker for marketing team.Help manage portfolio of 200+ molecules, 500+ SKUs at customer level, product level forecasting, track new awards and manage wins and losses with pricing through SAP management toolProvide proactive and in-depth financial analysis of product current state of business and potential rationalizationCreate monthly sales IQVIA data analysis and SOP reports for sales team and senior managementMonitor market share at product level based on competition, market share, pricing utilization, costs and work with sales team and pricing team to evaluate recommendations for forecast adjustmentsAssist preparation, deliver and present in PowerPoint and excel to summarize complex data analysis - Sun and competitor's market share, position, sales, and other key metrics - where Sun competesWork with internal stakeholders to researching new entrant on IQVIA, gather data from IQVIA, and prepare various data sources such as direct customer sales, indirect distributor sales, and other adjustments for purposes of forecasting, sales planning and budgetingComplete ad-hoc analyses and projects per Management's request. Review and address interdepartmental requests for product and marketing informationKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS/ABILITIES & EXPERIENCE TO DO THE JOB
BS in business, marketing or related discipline1-2 Years applicable work experience in marketing or analytics preferredStrong orientation to detail and ability to grasp new conceptsStrong analytical skillsSolid communication skills both verbal and writtenStrong Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)Strong organizational and prioritization skills in order to meet tight deadlines and work independentlyAbility to translate complex data into actionable insightsPast pharmaceutical experience would be preferredThe presently-anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $88,500 to $98,000. Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience. In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan. Employees are eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs which include medical, dental and vision coverage;
